Convert PDF to Word (.docx)
Get the text into a .docx you can edit. No layout magic promised — words come out clean and ready to reformat.
- 1Drop the PDF
The text layer and any images on page 1 are checked as soon as the file loads; a scan or a picture gets a warning before you convert.
- 2Choose what to include
Optionally keep page markers so you can find your place while editing.
- 3Download the .docx
Open it in Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice — whatever you have. Best for text; tables and columns may need cleanup.
Questions people actually ask
Will it look exactly like the PDF?
No, and no honest browser tool can promise that. Layout, columns and images aren't reproduced — the text and paragraphs are. You'll reformat in seconds; you won't retype in hours.
My scan produced an empty document.
Scanned PDFs have no text layer. Run the OCR tool first, then paste the result — or rebuild the document in Word directly.
What happens to photos and logos inside the PDF?
They are detected and reported before you convert, but they are not copied. This tool builds a text-only .docx. Images, columns and exact layout need a desktop editor or the original source file.
