Image tools for the size you actually need

Compress to a specific KB limit, resize, crop, rotate, strip metadata, or convert between JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, SVG and HEIC. The image stays on your device.

Start with the destination. If a form says “under 100 KB”, use one of the target-size compressors — they search for the highest quality that still fits. If you need a different file type, use the converter pages: each one defaults to the right output and keeps transparency where the format allows it.

Format limits are stated plainly: GIF output is a single frame, SVG output embeds the picture as a raster image rather than tracing it into vectors, and TIFF output is uncompressed RGB. Those are honest format boundaries, not hidden quality loss.

Compress or convert?

Compression keeps the same format when it can and throws away detail to hit a size. JPG and WebP work best for photos; PNG is better for screenshots, logos and anything with flat colour.

Conversion changes the container. JPG to PNG is useful when you need lossless editing; PNG to JPG is useful when a site rejects PNG; WebP is usually the smallest for the web; TIFF and BMP are for print and older software.

HEIC and TIFF are decoded in the browser before conversion. Multi-page TIFFs become one image per page in the converter, and the TIFF-to-PNG page keeps that behaviour explicit.
